As part of this growing team, you will be involved in meaningful work that combines great projects, great people, and a great environment your life and career will surely become an adventure.About the Role:The Construction Executive Assistant is responsible for supporting the Vice President of Construction by providing high-level administrative and scheduling support, handling communications, and contributing to various operational tasks and projects.Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Construction managing emails, calendar and meeting coordination, document control, travel arrangements, follow-up calls on urgent projects, contacting Suppliers for coordination or pricing, etc.Compose and draft communications via email or other platforms.Provide support for the Site Supervisors and their teams through email, phone calls, and software including Corfix and Smartsheet.Assist the Operations and HR departments to train and support new Site Supervisors and Project Managers in their roles. Participate in the weekly placement meeting (manpower planning).Provide support to the Project Management Assistant, Project Coordinators, and Project Managers as needed for purchasing requirements.Partner with VP on Marketing initiatives including social platforms, website development and maintenance. Also shows an interest with community involvement and charity campaigns.Organize and coordinate Start-up meetings with internal stakeholders.Assist the Executive Management Team with new company initiatives and provide ongoing support and partnerships with all departments.Other responsibilities or ad-hoc projects as assigned.What Youll Bring:Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an assetProven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably within the construction, plumbing, or mechanical industriesExcellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skillsAbility to handle sensitive information and make thoughtful decisions on behalf of TPHStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailCan work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Demonstrates a positive attitude and leads by example in all professional skillsetsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficient technological skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Bilingualism (English and French) is an assetWhat We Offer:Balanced and flexible work hoursCompetitive salary, benefits package, and pension plan Paid vacation time and sick/floater daysLaptopWork boot allowanceOpportunities for professional growth and development Additional Information:TPH Plumbing and Heating is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
