We provide end-to-end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury, and insurance.Whether you possess a background in finance, technology, or Mathematics, your experience in the capital markets industry would be of high interest to us.ResponsibilitiesEnvironment Operations Consultant:Environment deployment and Management OperationsDeploy and manage Murex Software needed for Murex client projects using Murex tools and scripts.Perform basic smoke tests before delivering the needed products.Act as a first-level support for already deployed Murex products, re-directing and following the issues with the corresponding support teams.Performing system health checks and diagnostics (RAM, CPU, processes, etc.) to ensure optimal performance and uptimeAutomating routine tasksConversion of a customer databasePerform database sanitization and purging proceduresMigration sequence execution and stabilizationSetting Methodologies and ProceduresContribute to creating the environment and configuration management methodologies, conversion processes, communication workflows, and needed templates and documentationCustomize and document the installation and the conversion/upgrade proceduresDeliver needed training and best practices for Murex Clients and project teamsManage internal streams: contribute to creating tools, measure related KPIs, and analyze potential issuesCollaborationEnsures good collaboration with the project teamEnsures good collaboration with customerCapitalizationCapitalizes on issues not related to a specific clientContributes to product evolution (feedback to product teams, follow-up on defects and issues)Technical SkillsDegree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology Engineering (or related discipline)Experience with scripting languagesExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressureStrong communication skillsKnowledge of technical machine specificationsKnowledge of XML manipulationsKnowledge of UNIX Operations with hands-on expertise in command-line operationsKnowledge of RDMS OperationsUnderstanding of the Financial marketsSkills Description- Strong working knowledge of Murex Configuration and Environment management- Strong knowledge of scheduler software (e.g. Tidal, Autosys, JAMS, ...etc.)- Good understanding of MXTest- Good product knowledge/understanding in IRD, CRD, EQD, FXD- Good understanding of Workflows, Operations, Fixings process, Confirmations, and Trade Life Cycle- Strong functional and technical understanding of Murex- Good knowledge of the different post-trade interactions between the various actors of capital markets including service providersMust:- previous experience, min 2yrs, with Murex Environment management- MXTest Module (a plus)- Must have strong personality, logical and analytical skills- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner and self-starter- Possess good verbal and written communication skills- Must have strong organization skills- Good SQL, Unix , Scripting , Sybase and Oracle skills
