Overview: As a D365 Business Central Pre-Sales Architect , you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical aspects of pre-sales engagements for Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, design innovative solutions, and present compelling demonstrations that showcase the capabilities of Business Central. This role demands deep technical expertise in ERP systems, particularly Dynamics 365 Business Central, and a strong ability to articulate complex technical solutions to potential clients. Key Responsibilities: Solution Architecture: Design scalable and robust solutions using Dynamics 365 Business Central to address client business needs. Create detailed architecture diagrams, solution outlines, and technical documentation. Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to identify client requirements and develop tailored technical proposals. Conduct presentations and product demonstrations that effectively showcase the features and benefits of Dynamics 365 Business Central. Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on Dynamics 365 Business Central, staying abreast of the latest updates, features, and best practices. Provide insights and thought leadership in ERP architecture and design. Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, and objectives. Translate these into technical requirements and design solutions that align with their strategic goals. Proof of Concept (PoC) Development: Lead the development of PoCs and prototypes to validate the feasibility and value of proposed solutions. Guide clients through PoC phases, addressing technical concerns and ensuring successful outcomes. Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, consulting, and development to ensure alignment on technical solutions and feasibility. Act as a liaison between sales and delivery teams. Risk Management: Identify technical risks and challenges early in the pre-sales process. Propose mitigation strategies and alternatives to ensure successful project delivery. Training and Enablement: Provide training sessions and knowledge transfer to internal teams and clients on Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions and capabilities. Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. (Masters degree preferred) Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in solution architecture and pre-sales within the ERP domain, with at least 5+ years specifically focused on Dynamics 365 Business Central. Proven track record of successfully architecting and delivering ERP solutions. Technical Skills: Expertise in Dynamics 365 Business Central configuration, customization, and integration. Strong understanding of ERP architecture, financial management, supply chain, and manufacturing processes. Familiarity with Azure cloud services and integration tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, and Azure Logic Apps is advantageous.
