We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.What will you do?Work within a team of Data and Business analysts within Data Engineering group. Develop Business requirements for IT applications, system specifications and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies.Eliciting the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments.Translating business needs, processes and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders.Working closely with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverables.Utilize Hive/SQL/ Python to perform daily data analysis and advanced data mining and analytics on large transactional datasetsWork closely with Program sponsors, SMEs in various business areas, technology teams to finalize functional business requirements and support implementation activitiesMake recommendations and build use cases on new sources of value by addressing the biggest gaps in our data sources in relation to completenessFind opportunities to create and automate repeatable analyses or build self-service tools for business usersResearch industry metrics and business context and bring this context to bear in analysesExcel and inspire others by showcasing highest quality/rigor/thought leadershipWhat do you need to Succeed?Must have:Solid 3-5 years of business and data analytical experience in applying solutions to business problems in relevant fields such as analytics, business requirements, consulting, or other data-driven functionsHands-on experience in databases, data engineering, ETL, ELT concepts with utilizing querying, automation, and big data technologies (e.g. Python, SQL, Spark, Teradata, Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks) to produce repeatable insightsSolid understanding of Finance business processes such as Balance Sheet Reporting, Profit and Loss Reporting, Capital Reserve Reporting, Capital Markets products and processes, and Regulatory ReportingDemonstrated experience in quantitative, qualitative, analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.Utilize storytelling skills, showcase ability of translating complex data into compelling business insights.
