Position: Material HandlerLocation: Milton, Ontario (100% Onsite)Shift: MondayFriday, Day ShiftPay: $24/hrDuration: 6-month contract (possible extension)Key Responsibilities: Work from instructions, picking documents, and established routines. Verify part numbers and quantities against packing slips. Receive and relocate incoming parts, filing receiving paperwork. Prepare items for shipment: assemble containers, post weights, affix paperwork. Pick, pack, move, wrap, and load skids of various sizes and weights. Interface with warehouse office, drivers, and carriers. Perform cycle counts, audits, and routine warehouse problem solving. Operate lift equipment safely (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Order Picker). Support dock activities and assist team members as needed. Maintain safety, continuous improvement, and a clean work environment.Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Minimum 5 years experience operating Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and Order Picker in warehouse/manufacturing. (Candidates without this experience will not be considered, licenses must be valid and will be verified). Must reside within 80 km of Milton, ON (no relocation offered).Preferred Skills & Attributes: Safety-first mindset. Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, interpersonal, numerical, and organizational skills. PC skills including MS Office 365, Outlook, and RF Scanners. Effective time management and teamwork.
