Our client, a well-established firm, is seeking a Segregated Funds Administrator to join their investment operations team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in investment operations, fund administration, or trade support to join a stable and collaborative environment within a respected organization.About the RoleAs a Segregated Funds Administrator, youll play a key role in the day-to-day operations and data integrity of the firms segregated (customized) investment portfolios. This position ensures that all transactions, reconciliations, and reports are completed accurately and on time.This is a hands-on, back-office operations role that requires a high level of accuracy, accountability, and collaboration. The successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with data, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily reconciliation and posting of portfolio transactions (cash movements, dividends, fees, etc.)Maintain accurate and timely reconciliations for custodian accounts on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basisSupport trade settlement processes and liaise with custodians and brokers as neededPrepare and deliver internal and client reporting packages, including monthly account reconciliationsGenerate ad hoc reports and summaries for portfolio managers and internal teamsMaintain organized records and documentation in compliance with internal standardsProvide backup and workflow support to other team members as requiredQualifications4+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or securities settlementStrong working knowledge of Advent APX/REX or equivalent portfolio accounting systemsExcellent Excel and data management skills (experience handling large datasets and reconciliations)Understanding of securities, trade settlements, and custodial processesExceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilityStrong communication and teamwork skills; comfortable working in a collaborative environmentCompletion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and/or Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) considered an assetAttributes for SuccessThrives in a structured, process-driven environmentHighly organized with strong time management skillsDemonstrates integrity, accountability, and professionalismValues collaboration and enjoys contributing to a supportive team cultureWhy This OpportunityJoin a stable, reputable investment management firm known for its integrity and long-term client relationshipsWork alongside experienced professionals who value quality, collaboration, and attention to detailEnjoy exposure to multiple facets of the investment business in a close-knit, supportive environmentCompetitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for long-term career growth
