You will:Manage event planning and coordination activities in collaboration with team members.Identify event objectives and budgets and develop a plan to ensure a successful event.Maintain and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Track expenses and process invoices, ensuring costs remain within budget.Research venues for in-person events as well as virtual platforms for online events.Determine the required support, information, and materials for each event.Prepare reports and presentations on event metrics with detailed analyses.Collaborate with the Marketing team on promotional strategies and execution.Oversee and coordinate logistics for event set up, execution, and breakdown.Identify potential risks and challenges and develop contingency plans.Ensure events are executed in compliance with relevant regulations.Conduct post-event evaluation, gathering feedback from attendees.Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices.Other tasks as assigned.What you bring to the jobYou are passionate about event planning and ensuring everyone has a positive experience. You are hardworking, efficient, and proactive, and determined to successfully lead projects from beginning to end. You also have the following qualities:Fluency in both English and French at a native or bilingual level.Post-secondary education in hospitality and/or event management.At least 5 years of experience in event administration and project management.Experience with planning and coordinating both in-person and virtual professional events.Experience with leading teams and event planning processes.Sharp attention to detail and high-level organizational skills.Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.A results-driven and service-oriented mindset.Able to work independently and collaboratively within a group.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.Comfortable with working in office and travelling for events.Expected Compensation: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 CAD annually.We really look forward to hearing from you, but please understand that we will will only be contacting those that are applicable for the role!
