If so, we look forward to hearing from you! **Duties and Responsibilities:** - Prep trailers for paint shop - Blast trailers and trailer parts as required - Support the smooth running of the paint shop - Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager - Adhere to H&S rules **Qualifications/Skills Required:** - High School education required - post secondary preferred - Commercial Body Shop experience required - Previous experience painting and prepping - Must be mechanically inclined - Attention to detail and quality - Willing to work overtime as required - Possess a valid drivers license. - Ability to work independently in a busy environment. - Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. - Able to work well under pressure. - Strong attention to detail. - Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times. **Work Conditions** - Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs. - Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc. - Must be able to stay focused on the task at hand - Overtime as required - Hazards associated with the trade **What We Can Offer You** - Working with state of the art equipment and tools - Progressive health and safety program - Interesting and challenging work - Opportunity to work with people who build the best trailers in the business - Competitive Wages - RRSP with Matching Program - Skills development and training - Company paid healthcare benefits and Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP) - Clothing and Safety Shoe allowance - Comprehensive tool purchase program Day Shift hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00 am to 12 noon on Friday The starting wage for this position is dependent on experience and training. Upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period the candidate will be eligible to take part in our benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, Group RRSP and safety boot and clothing allowance.
