Senior Estimator Multi Family Edmonton Full-Time | PermanentMy client is seeking a Senior Estimator to join their dynamic Multi Family Division, where you'll lead the estimating team of three and oversee the full scope of cost estimation, purchasing, contract review, and custom pricing. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed and reliable cost estimates for townhomes and mid-rise structures.Develop comprehensive project budgets aligned with client and project objectives.Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimization.Lead and mentor Estimators, ensuring productivity and accuracy.Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to refine estimates.Review design drawings for compliance with specifications.Support land acquisition feasibility through preliminary budgeting.Manage tender processes and trade selection recommendations.Finalize project budgets and oversee ERP data management (HomeFront, BuildPro).Maintain vendor databases and pricing structures.Assist in contract execution and provide custom pricing for retail projects.QualificationsPost-secondary education in Construction Management, Architectural Technologies, Quantity Surveying, or related field.Minimum 5 years experience in residential construction estimating.Proficiency in estimation software (Bluebeam, Revit).Experience with HomeFront, BuildPro, and SupplyPro is preferred.Strong knowledge of the Alberta Building Code.Preferred SkillsAbility to interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.Advanced skills in Excel and MS Project.Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation abilities.Experience in new home building is an asset.Even if you feel you don't fully meet the criteria, still apply - we may have another role for you.Senior Estimator Multi Family - Edmonton
