Position Overview:The Project Coordinator will support the Design Build Division by assisting Project Managers and site teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Project Coordinator will act as a key link between office, design, and field operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in alignment with company standards.Key Responsibilities:Assist Project Managers in coordinating schedules, resources, equipment, and information for active projects.Support the preparation, review, and tracking of contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, RFIs, change orders, and shop drawings.Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports, and project logs.Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution.Support design coordination, ensuring drawings and specifications are up-to-date and distributed correctly.Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and provide updates to the Project Manager.Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and invoice review to ensure financial accuracy.Support compliance with safety, quality, and company standards across all project phases.Participate in project closeout, ensuring turnover documents, as-builts, and warranty information are complete.Qualifications:Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil/Architectural Engineering, or a related field.7+ years of experience in construction project coordination, preferably in design build or general contracting.Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and specifications.Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) considered an asset.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Detail-oriented with strong time management and multitasking abilities.
