Position Summary:The Project Coordinator Track will support the planning, coordination, and execution of rail track work on large-scale transit infrastructure projects. This role will assist project managers, superintendents, and construction teams to ensure smooth progress of track-related scopes, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.Key Responsibilities:Assist in the coordination and oversight of track installation, including ballast, ties, rail, and related components.Monitor construction progress and support scheduling and work sequencing efforts for track work packages.Ensure work aligns with design drawings, specifications, and applicable standards (e.g., AREMA, TTC, Metrolinx).Prepare and maintain documentation including RFIs, submittals, material tracking logs, daily reports, and meeting minutes.Coordinate with internal teams (civil, systems, structures) and subcontractors to resolve conflicts and interface issues.Support quality assurance and quality control processes by maintaining inspection test records and assisting with NCRs and deficiency tracking.Assist in procurement and tracking of materials and ensure timely delivery to support construction progress.Contribute to safety planning and support on-site safety initiatives, including toolbox talks and inspections.Work closely with field supervisors and track specialists to monitor installation and testing phases.Support project close-out activities including as-builts, O&M manuals, and turnover documentation.Qualifications:Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.2+ years of experience in construction, ideally with exposure to rail/transit projects or heavy civil infrastructure.Knowledge of track construction methods and transit construction standards is an asset.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Procore) is an asset.Valid drivers license and ability to work on-site as required.What Amico Can Offer You:Competitive SalaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAt Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
