We are looking for someone self-motivated, a proactive thinker, and willing to take on difficult challenges to join our Installation and Services team as an Installation and Services Project Manager.The Installation and Services Project Manager will manage the project scope, project schedule, and project costs related to furniture installation projects. Furthermore, the incumbent assists in the selection, evaluation, training, and supervision of third-party installation companies.Duties and responsibilitiesAssist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. This includes providing input to sales RFP and tender processesEnsure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budgetEstablish and maintain relationships with third-party furniture installation companies and negotiate pricing and contracts with themProvide training to installers and customers on Arconas' products and ensure quality standards are maintainedCoordinate internal resources and third-party installers for the flawless execution of furniture seating projects.Ensure that third-party installers' Health, Safety & Environmental practices and standards align with Arconas' requirementsAbility to travel on short notice in North America and abroad to ensure quality installation of our productsCoordinates Service Orders with Customer Service, the third-party installers, and the clientWill troubleshoot installation and service issues and perform basic root cause analysisEnsures strong communication with other departments to deliver a high level of customer service and satisfactionAssist with trade show events, as requiredPerform other duties assigned by Senior ManagementAssist in the development and maintenance of training materials, including written and audio-visual formatsQualificationsPost-secondary education related to project management, engineering, construction, or a similar background3 - 5 years of experience in a related roleCAPM/PMP designation is an assetAbility to manage a team on an installation siteExperience in organizing and managing projects at large government or commercial facilitiesUnderstanding of the legal framework of institutional/commercial installation contractsA strong mechanical aptitude, along with proficiency in the use of hand tools required in the assembly of Arconas' productsMust speak English and be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholdersAbility to travel within Canada, the USA, and internationally, mainly short trips (2 to 3 days) once or twice a month, based on operational needsValid driver's licenseWorking conditionsThis position will work from our Mississauga office location.Occasional plant environment work; inspections, consultations, trainingWill work off-site in either the clients or the third-party installers environmentWhen working off-site, hours of work may be irregularDynamic, interactive, fast-paced growth environmentReady to embark on an exciting journey with us?Apply now and become a valued member of our company.Provide your expected base and total compensation within your cover letter or resumeWe appreciate your interest in our position.
