Our client, the Bank of Canada has a 18 month hybrid remote contract opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years experience with IT infrastructure and network security.Provide project management expertise for all project activities by working with stakeholders, projectteam members and groups across the Bank using proven project management best practices andmethodologies Oversee the project throughout all phases by ensuring resources are adequately utilized and the projectis completed and fully operational within previously agreed upon timelines, and performanceparameters Develop project plans and prioritize work to achieve project objectives, working with project resourcesand ensuring collaboration with other teams, as required Oversee project risks, issues, and interdependencies while delivering defined scope and work planswithin defined quality and timeframes Prepare and present proposals, plans, charts, status reports and risk logs to assist in analyzing,displaying and socializing progress, challenges, issues and problems by using a variety of projectmanagement tools Assist team with change requests and risk mitigation plans Align success measures to track adoption and transformation progress Coordinate the input, support and communication with all functional areas that affect requirementsrelated to project scope, business value, risk, Develop and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with stakeholders and business partnersto ensure understanding of client needs and support effective resolution of client inquiries and concerns Collaborate proactively with other Banks teams to coordinate interdependencies and optimize flow fordelivery and operational teams Act as a central point of contact for all project resources and subject matter experts Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning retrospective meetings and backlog management to provideguidance to the delivery team to identify and prioritize deliverables Provide regular updates on progress and value delivery to senior management and/or thesponsor/client Ensure all project deliverables are completed including all related documentations and processes Other activities and deliverable, as requiredRequired Qualifications & Skills University degree or college diploma in information technology, project management, businessadministration or a related field A minimum of ten (10) years of recent demonstrated experience in the field of IT infrastructure andnetwork security A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience as a Senior Project Management Specialist inoverseeing medium-to-large infrastructure modernization projects in a complex environment Strong demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to identify and communicate value andtranslate business needs into project objectives Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage technical andnon-technical audiences Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions and judgments,especially in identifying and mitigating infrastructure risks Demonstrated experience leading multiple initiatives concurrently and effectively managinginterdependencies Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve objectivesAdditional Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure lifecycle programs, including hardware evergreening,and integration of cloud-native technologies across hybrid environments Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-scale network security projects, including firewallarchitecture modernization, cloud-based segmentation, and Zero Trust implementations Demonstrated knowledge of the Banks functions and core business processes PMP Certification SCRUM Master Certification
