Indigenous and Stakeholder Relations Advisor About the Role: We''re supporting a client in hiring an Indigenous and Stakeholder Relations Advisor a trusted connector who can bridge communities, culture, and corporate collaboration. What You''ll Do: This role is all about connection listening, learning, and leading with respect. You''ll: Build and strengthen partnerships with Indigenous Nations, organizations, and community leaders across Western Canada. Create pathways for collaboration whether through employment, training, community projects, or business partnerships. Provide strategic advice internally on respectful engagement, inclusion, and relationship development. Bring insight and awareness to how Indigenous perspectives can inform company initiatives and decision-making. Represent the organization at meetings, gatherings, and events that deepen mutual understanding and partnership. Travel regularly (approximately 3040%) to connect face-to-face with communities and colleagues. Strong communication, diplomacy, and cultural competency skills. Lived Indigenous experience or a strong connection to Indigenous communities is considered a major asset.
