Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect to lead the technical review and optimization of our clients AWS environments. The successful candidate will assess existing cloud architectures, identify security and performance gaps, and provide actionable recommendations to improve scalability, cost efficiency, and governance. This is a contract role and work will be on an as needed basis. There will be a pool of hours to draw from.Responsibilities:Conduct detailed assessments of client AWS implementations, including architecture, security, networking, storage, and compute configurations.Identify misconfiguration, performance bottlenecks, and cost-optimization opportunities.Evaluate compliance with AWS Well-Architect Framework and industry best practices.Recommend architecture and infrastructure improvements to enhance reliability, scalability, and resilience.Develop detailed technical reports and executive summaries outlining findings and recommendations.Collaborate with client technical teams to plan and prioritize remediation efforts.Stay up to date with AWS product developments and evolving cloud standards.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience designing and managing AWS environments.AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (preferred) or Associate required.Must be fluent in French (oral and written)Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, VPC design, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.Experience with cost optimization tools and FinOps practices.Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical findings into business language.ID#5200
