Position Overview Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with an organization in their search for a Human Resources Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR leader to take full ownership of the HR function in a highly collaborative and operationally driven environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in labour relations, a practical understanding of unionized workplaces, and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically as a solo HR leader. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of labour relations, including grievance management, contract interpretation, and collective agreement administration. Act as the key HR point of contact for employees, supporting both unionized and non-unionized teams. Provide daily HR support and guidance across multiple departments. Navigate union dynamics effectively while maintaining positive relationships and ensuring fair outcomes. Oversee disability claims, employee inquiries, and policy adherence. Ensure compliance with Manitoba labour laws and employment standards. Support leaders with employee relations matters and advise on best practices. Understand and engage with all business functions to ensure alignment between HR and operational needs. Requirements Must bring a minimum 5+ years of progressive HR experience with a focus on labour relations and unionized environments. In-depth knowledge of Manitoba employment legislation and collective bargaining processes. Experience managing HR independently in a fast-paced, multi-department setting. CPHR designation preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and professional judgment skills. Willingness to work fully on-site (no hybrid or remote flexibility). Rewards Competitive salary range of $80,000$95,000. Defined Benefit Pension Plan, Vacation time, Comprehensive health benefits.
