The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.Position Overview:The Track Structures Technical Coordinator will provide technical and coordination support for the design, construction, and integration of track-related structures on the ECWE-SRS project. This role ensures all structural works associated with the railway track system are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate the design and construction activities for track-related structures, including bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other supporting infrastructure.Review technical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.Collaborate with engineering, construction, and quality teams to resolve technical issues and ensure alignment across disciplines.Support field teams by providing technical guidance and ensuring design intent is maintained during construction.Monitor progress of structural works and assist in maintaining accurate documentation, reports, and change records.Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure timely exchange of technical information and approvals.Participate in inspections, testing, and quality assurance activities for track structure components.Contribute to risk assessments, constructability reviews, and interface coordination meetings.Ensure that all works adhere to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications:Degree or Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.5+ years of experience in heavy civil or rail infrastructure projects, with specific exposure to track structures.Strong understanding of railway design standards, construction methodologies, and structural systems.Experience with technical coordination between design and construction teams.Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Working knowledge of relevant software tools (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Office, etc.).Familiarity with Metrolinx or other major rail infrastructure projects is an asset.What Amico Can Offer You:Competitive SalaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAt Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
