The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.Position Overview:Amico Affiliates is seeking an experienced Utility & Site Services Estimator to support the ECWE-SRS Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for utility and site service scopes, including civil works, underground infrastructure, and related site development components. This role will require a strong understanding of construction methods, drawings, and specifications, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and pricing for utilities and site services.Analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure alignment between estimating and execution strategies.Maintain up-to-date unit cost data, historical pricing, and productivity metrics.Participate in project reviews and value engineering exercises to optimize design and cost outcomes.Assist in preparing bid submissions and supporting documentation for tender presentations.Track and document estimate assumptions, inclusions, and exclusions for project clarity and risk management.Qualifications:Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum 5+ years of estimating experience, preferably in utilities, site servicing, or civil infrastructure projects.Strong proficiency in quantity take-off software and MS Excel; familiarity with estimating platforms such as HeavyBid, Bid2Win, or Bluebeam is an asset.Solid understanding of site servicing, storm/sanitary systems, watermain installation, and earthworks.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.What Amico Can Offer You:Competitive SalaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAt Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
