The Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package encompasses the design, construction, integration, and commissioning of key project components.Position Overview:Amico Affiliates is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team on the ECWE-SRS project. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and promoting a strong safety culture across the project.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs specific to the ECWE-SRS project.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.Monitor and enforce safety protocols, including PPE usage, emergency procedures, and incident reporting.Investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Coordinate and deliver safety training sessions for all site personnel.Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and regulatory reports.Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies, contractors, and project stakeholders on health and safety matters.Promote a culture of safety awareness and proactive risk management among all team members.Qualifications & Experience:Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety or related field; certification such as CRSP, NEBOSH, or equivalent is an asset.Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a health and safety role within construction or industrial projects.Strong knowledge of federal and provincial occupational health and safety regulations.Proven ability to conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.What Amico Can Offer You:Competitive SalaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAt Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
