Our 13 FinLabs serve as hubs where we innovate and develop cutting-edge business solutions.Our challenge: Synechron is looking for a Service Transformation Consultant to innovate and modernize service delivery by leading pivotal digital transformation initiatives. This role involves advising executive teams, fostering organizational change, and guiding cross-departmental projects to enhance citizen experiences in the digital age.Responsibilities:Provide expert guidance on digital delivery, agile product development, and organizational transformation strategies.Lead and influence ministerial and departmental service transformation projects, particularly within the Ministry of Education and Child Care.Coach and mentor GoA teams, ensuring best practices in service innovation and digital transformation are adopted and sustained.Facilitate strategic conversations among senior leadership to develop shared understanding, governance frameworks, and decision-making options.Develop and present options, models, and frameworks based on emerging practices for digital transformation initiatives.Assess and build capabilities around digital services, organizational structure, governance, and culture to support sustainable change.Establish key metrics and outcomes to measure project success and ongoing performance post-implementation.Assist in designing and operationalizing support models for live digital services, ensuring effective ongoing support.Requirements:5+ years of experience in agile software development and modern service design-based product delivery in large-scale organizations (e.g., government, private sector with 5,000+ employees).5+ years working with dedicated public sector central digital offices, such as UK Government Digital Service, 18F, Digital Service Division, etc.5+ years of experience in organizational development centered on digital transformation within complex organizations.Proven facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with senior government executives.Ability to develop strategic frameworks, models, and recommendations for complex organizational change.Strong coaching, mentorship, and communication skills to guide cross-functional teams and leaders.Experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.Flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel within Alberta.Nice to Have:Experience leading large-scale technology change initiatives impacting all organizational levels.Experience developing and implementing government-wide strategies or mandates for digital transformation.Advising senior executives and designing organizational change management plans, including capability frameworks, workforce plans, and structural changes.SYNECHRONS DIVERSITY & INCLUSION STATEMENTDiversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
