Akkodis is seeking a Bilingual Content Management Advisor (Senior Translator & Copywriter) for a contract position with a client in Toronto, ON (Hybrid), and ideally looking for experience with marketing translationPosition: Content Management Advisor (Senior Translator & Copywriter) Location: 40 King Street West, Toronto, ON 1 day onsiteContractJob Description,To create outstanding and effective communication for the luxury automotive brands in the region, through a combination of originating local work and adapting global work. All will be for implementation across the full channel mix and end-to-end customer journey.To contribute to the creation of global ideas and executions that will be truly fit for local implementation.To operate collaboratively with the global team and across all departments within the regional team to produce outstanding solutions on time and on brief in a fast-paced environment.The work:Translates from English into Quebec French and/or proofreads all LUXURY BRAND material (print and digital assets such as CRM, DCO, brochures and internal bulletins, order guides, automotive features, Website content, French voice-overs, etc.)Ensures consistency in terminology and technical specifications.Ensures client expectations with regard to Quebec are clearly understood and agreed to.Ensures all translations coming from vendors for Global and Local needs are properly proofed and transcreated for language.Serves as the proactive and active voice for the client on all matters about French translation and transcreation.Works with senior clients to help them articulate their message to their customers, translating these into creative outputs that are relevant, engaging and compelling.Operates collaboratively across all departments and disciplines in the execution of campaigns to produce outstanding solutions on time and on brief.Continually learns new skills that facilitate fresh ideas and innovative approaches to work.Completes other ad hoc activities and projects as required.Assets:Knowledge of translation software and tools (SDL Trados, Multiterm, Translation Memories)Experience leveraging company-approved AI tools to create efficiencies.You must be prepared to adopt and embody our key values of Care, Collaboration, Candour and Character.Experience of successfully leading a piece of business - from brief through to delivery; intuitively understanding key messages and campaign objectives.Strong influencing skills with the ability to take a leading role in client and internal meetings, articulating ideas positively and confidently.Able to judge creative ideas and clearly communicate creative direction to others.Ensure creative output is relevant and of the highest standard - ensuring accuracy and attention to detail throughout the life of a campaign.Self-motivated and driven; possess both the ability to work unsupervised and collaboratively with other teams.Enthusiastic and unrelenting attitude towards helping the Agency produce better work.
