Repair production equipment as well as facilities where required Perform troubleshooting of emergency breakdowns as necessary Conduct preventative maintenance, fixing breakdowns, and replacing parts on various production machines Fabricate by drilling, welding, and operating power tools to fix machines or build new parts Work with different systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic diagrams ACCOUNTABILITY : Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : Provincially recognized credentials for Industrial Mechanic / Millwright / Electrician or technical training WHMIS or First Aid tickets (asset as training will be provided) 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role Licensed Journeyman or equivalent experience Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices and procedures Able to problem solve, use critical thinking, and make decisions Able to follow oral and written instructions Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly Flexible and adaptable Proactive and preventive approach Able to work with minimal supervision Punctual and reliable Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a similar environment is a definite asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
