Join to apply for the 25/26-119E - Bus Monitor (VHF) role at School District No. 91 Nechako LakesThe successful applicant will be responsible for the enforcement of busing rules while the bus is in motion, working with the Driver to ensure all students are riding the bus in a safe and respectful manner.Key Responsibilities:Enforce busing rules while the bus is in motionWork with the Driver to ensure all students are riding the bus in a safe and respectful mannerEnsure all students are safely seated and made to feel welcome when they arrive on the busSupport extra-curricular trips in addition to daily Curricular bus runsFamiliarize yourself with the regulations and requirements for safe bus operationsQualifications:Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)BC Drivers LicenseValid First Aid Basic Certificate (will be provided if needed)Experience working with youth in Grades K - 12WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety proceduresNotes:This position is included in the Human Rights Hiring Exemption and is limited to applicants of Indigenous Ancestry.
