To learn more, visit us at: https://www.stella-jones.comPosition OverviewThis newly created SAP FICO Business Analyst role supports the growth of our SAP Center of Excellence and the ongoing evolution of our SAP Financial systems. Focused on the FI and CO modules, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the SAP solution progression in line with evolving business needs.As an SAP FICO Business Analyst, you will support the finance team by providing first-line assistance for SAP FI and CO modules, helping end-users with system issues, usage guidance, and best practices. Alongside support duties, you'll contribute to ongoing improvements and integrations projects. Working with senior analysts and business users, youll help document processes, maintain training materials, and support the stability and evolution of financial operations within SAP.This position will be remote (home-based) or hybrid in Canada, with some travel (up to 5%) across Canada and the US.Key Responsibilities:Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements related to SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) processes and related integrations (e.g., VIM, Concur, Blackline).Participate in SAP enhancement or rollout projects, supporting requirements gathering, process documentation, testing, and user training.Support the configuration and maintenance of SAP FICO modules under the guidance of senior analysts or consultants.Provide day-to-day first-level support to end-users and super-users, resolving incidents and requests.Support user training sessions and offer guidance on best practices for SAP FICO usage; coach users when improper system usage is identified.Document test cases and support the execution of testing activities during upgrades or new functionality rollouts.Occasionally support tasks outside regular business hours to accommodate system updates, go-lives, or critical issue resolution. Qualifications:3+ years of experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules including the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Treasury and BankingBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.Understanding of Actual costing, hands-on experience preferredExperience with MM (Materials Management), VIM (Vendor Invoice Management) modules as well as integration points with other SAP modules like MM, PP and TM considered an assetStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesWork effectively with cross-functional teams, AMS partners, and stakeholders.5% travel may be requiredNote: In addition to this junior-level FICO Business Analyst role, we also have a Senior-level FICO Analyst opportunity requiring 7+ years of experience.
