Guidewire Tester/QA Position: GW Digital Legacy Functional Tester Location : Markham, ON Mode of Work : Hybrid (3 days a week)Job Summary:We are seeking a senior QA Specialist with strong knowledge in Guidewire, Digital and mainframe functional testing.Key Responsibilities :Digital Testing: Perform functional testing on insurance applications via digital portals, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.Guidewire Expertise: Conduct testing using Guidewire software to validate insurance application functionality.Legacy Expertise: Use Legacy Mainframe UI to test insurance applications for compliance with business and technical standards.Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations.Collaboration: Partner with development, operations, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, scripts, results, and recommendations. Update JIRA QE boards accordingly.Qualifications :EducationBachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience510 years of experience in Guidewire, Digital, and Mainframe testing, particularly in personal and commercial insurance applications.Technical SkillsProficiency in Guidewire functional testingProficiency in Digital functional testingExperience in Mainframe testingSoft Skills :Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and collaboration skillsDetail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracyPreferred Qualifications :Experience with cloud-based environments and testingCertifications in Guidewire, Digital, or Mainframe testingFamiliarity with insurance industry standards and regulations
