Designs conceptual, logical and physical models for the CIF, aligning to BIAN and supporting MDM/ODS layers. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will transform business requirements into efficient, scalable, and robust solutions, ensuring that our software products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain canonical data model and entity definitions for CIF. Produce LDM/PDM in tools of choice; enforce naming, keys and normalisation standards. Map source systems to canonical entities; support API and event schemas. Work with Governance on glossary, lineage and metadata. Support performance considerations (indexes, partitioning) with engineers.Required Technical Proficiency / Stack: Modelling: ER/Studio, ERwin (or similar); UML/ER; SQL BIAN service domains and canonical modelling concepts Awareness of platform stack: AWS (Glue, S3, Lambda, MSK/Kafka, Redshift, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, Airflow); integration via APIs/Kafka MDM/ODS design principles; reference/master data modelling Knowledge on different types of DB (relational, object-oriented, graph)Preferred Background: Experience modelling for banking/customer domains.
