Job Description WSP is seeking a Lead Project Engineer to join teams in Canada, with preference for Calgary, Moncton, Kitchener, ON. As a clientfacing leader, you will manage project planning, scheduling, estimating, risk assessment and proposal submissions. You will lead multidisciplinary collaboration to exceed quality, schedule and cost goals. Responsibilities Plan, schedule and estimate design engineering effort from conception to issue of all drawings and specifications. Assist in development of proposals and prepare cost estimates, schedules and risk assessments. Develop project strategy to ensure key issues are identified early and project quality, schedule and cost are achieved. Interpret project specifications and scope for all engineering disciplines. Review and approve all designs to ensure conformity with project specifications, scope, company practices and sound engineering practices. Coordinate discipline deliverables and monitor design changes and change orders. Act as the main technical contact with the client and make recommendations on highly technical aspects of projects. Coach and mentor junior engineers and mentor other engineers within the project engineering team. Qualifications PostGraduate in Engineering. At least 1015 years of experience in an EPCM environment in the energy industry with 710 years of direct project engineering experience. At least 2 years of experience as a Project Lead dealing directly with clients and stakeholders. P.Eng. or P.Tech. designation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven independent project leadership. Strong ability to prioritize activities, adapt to change and stay focused in a dynamic environment.
