Looking for a full-time farm hand. Looking for someone who has a passion for agriculture. Who has the dedication to get the job done safely and efficiently. Who has a strong work ethic and can be an independent problem solver yet work and communicate well with others. Must understand the job is physically demanding. We operate a feedlot and have a growing grain farm operation. Main yard site is in Elk Point. Predetermined schedule given, willing to work with right candidate to make the schedule work. Must be willing to work long hours during busy times such as seeding, harvest, cattle move ins. Must understand this farm runs 24/7, therefore must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Must have a valid and clean driver's license. Class 1 or 3 an asset. Must have previous agriculture experience. Feedlot experience an asset. Mechanical experience an asset. Equipment experience an asset. Will train on job. Job description will include the following but not limited to such: daily feeding of cattle and bedding of cattle, assisting in processing of cattle, moving cattle in and out of feed yard, moving grain to feed bin, grain farming operations, fence maintenace and pasture maintenace.
