JOB DESCRIPTION - Director, Sales & Marketing - North America Who are we? B-Engaged is a global Sports Marketing company marketing brands and athletes to sporting audiences around the world. The Role: Given the global expansion, B-Engaged is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing for the North America region. The position reports to the Managing Director, North America and serves as a key member of the North America team servicing athletes and brands. You will build on the existing B-Engaged client base, proactively manage both talent and brands, develop partnership strategies for clients and prospective clients, and help secure new business and revenue for B-Engaged North America. Key Requirements: This role is located in North America (Toronto) Proficient in CRM, presentation, and administrative platforms Build brands, Understand athletes, Know fans About You: Strong interest in sports and soccer Knowledgeable about athletes and the sports marketing landscape Proven sales track record Deep network within the sports sector and marketing industry Commercially driven Experience in external-facing capacities Tasks and responsibilities: Revenue Generation (50%) Set the sales strategy for all BENA products, clients, and IPs Drive top-line growth across all major sectors, with a core focus on agency retainers and property sponsorships Be the pivot on any inbound or outbound messaging and communications between internal teams and external partners Create clear targets and reporting structures delivered back to SLT as part of the broader global revenue team Manage internal CRM and data tracking platforms with real-time updates on lead generation, deal conversion, and deliverables from new business Work in lockstep with the B-Engaged Revenue Generation team for a seamless and synergetic experience for all external partners. An expert understanding of the full range and suite of IP BENA can sell against, and the different revenue streams that come from them. Brand Management (30%) Establish a primary grounding point in B-Engaged NA for a holistic client portfolio across all communication channels Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Collaborate with the creative and brand management teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value propositions to our clients. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both parties. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to the CRO. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our services and expand our network. Internal Integration (20%) Updating and refreshing global and local systems to maintain workflow and integration of the NA office into regional offices and the global headquarters. Work across the company to align marketing and positioning with the industry to drive brand awareness and understanding of the agency's capabilities and case studies. Identifying clients, working to secure the correct contact details to process through the sales funnel Support on concept development with the creative team for pitch decks and additional sales material. Share and champion NA office work with B-Engaged functional and regional counterparts. Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience working within a relevant field of the sporting industry University degree in a related field This role requires deep knowledge of the sports business industry, as well as strong interpersonal skills to help drive alignment among various stakeholders, while also influencing gotomarket strategies that optimise for growth, adoption and value for the sporting audience Strong communication skills An in-depth understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies and sports industry trends across various sports Excellent copywriting skills; ability to write under pressure for multiple campaigns & clients simultaneously The drive to take initiative, work independently and be accountable while also working as a team player who is collaborative, positive and flexible Salary: Dependent on experience - including business objectivedriven bonus structures Location: Toronto, Canada Start Date: ASAP #J-18808-Ljbffr
