Job Description The Oncology & Hematology Division at Brampton Civic Hospital and Etobicoke General Hospital sees over 3,000 new oncology consults annually. The role involves providing patientfocused care in a teambased model, supporting both outpatient and inpatient services, and engaging in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives. About The Program Benign hematology outpatient clinics are staffed with nurses, clerical staff, a pharmacist, and a dedicated RBC disorder/sicklecell clinic. The oncology program includes 16 physicians and dedicated nursing, pharmacy and alliedhealth support. The program supports a general practitionerled hematology clinic, a nurse practitionerled urgentcare clinic, and an inpatient oncology unit, with additional services in stemcell transplant and bispecific Tcell therapy. Qualifications Accredited medical degree (or equivalent) Certification in Internal Medicine with subspecialty in Medical Oncology (FRCPC) License to practice in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario Leadership, qualityimprovement, and clinicaltrial experience considered assets Interest in myeloproliferative disorders, with advanced training in myeloid disorders considered an asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Sound criticalthinking and problemsolving skills Proven track record of attendance, punctuality and accountability Alignment with Oslers values of respect, excellence, service, compassion, innovation and collaboration Expertise in clinical teaching or research preferred for those interested in education or research Additional Information Osler partners with Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine, the University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine and McMasters Michael G.
