Overview of the Role We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to support our internal and external communications, branding, and engagement efforts. Reporting to the General Manager, this role ensures consistent messaging and strong community connection through newsletters, social media, web content, and branding initiatives. What You will do Create, publish, and manage written, graphic, and digital content across newsletters, websites, and social media platforms. Support the development and evaluation of communication strategies for all NTBB departments and Council. Maintain brand consistency across all internal and external communications. Oversee purchasing and inventory of branded merchandise and printed products. Assist in the preparation & production of the annual report and other key comm. pieces. Collaborate with departments and external partners on engagement initiatives. Maintain organized filing and archiving of communications documents. Required What you Bring Diploma in Communications, Public Relations, Web Design, Business, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in communications, content creation, digital media, or public relations. Strong skills in digital platforms such as Microsoft Office, WordPress, social media platforms, and email marketing tools. Experience working with sensitive and confidential information. Preferred Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro). Previous experience working in a First Nations community or Indigenous organization. Creativity, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience and education.
