As the Insurance Service Coordinator, you will act as 'director of first impressions', welcoming all visitors and callers, uncovering their insurance needs, and making the appropriate connections within the SASCU Insurance team. This position supports the efficient delivery of service through clerical and administration responsibilities, including the coordination and preparation of appointments.What youll do:Create a welcoming environment for visitors and ensure the seamless flow of traffic within the branch.Make and receive phone calls, and direct callers to appropriate individuals as needed.Acknowledge and address client concerns and take appropriate action to resolve them.Book appointments and provide information to prepare clients for meetings with SASCU Insurance representatives.Engage clients in conversation to uncover opportunities for SASCU to assist them with reaching their goals.Receive and process mail, maintain applicable records, and provide general clerical and administrative assistance.Participate in marketing initiatives and ensure marketing materials are kept current.Undertake other related duties to maximize service delivery.What youll bring:1 year of post-secondary education or equivalent.1-3 years of related experience in an administration office environment.Understanding of insurance products, services, policies, and procedures is an asset.Strong organizational skills with a high level of accountability and initiative.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with desktop and online programs (including Microsoft Office).Commitment to continuous learning and self-development.We invest in our employees by offering:A competitive base salary ($43,000 $53,750 per year) plus performance-based incentive pay, and a pension plan with SASCU matching all funds.Comprehensive group benefits coverage including extended health and dental care, life and disability insurance, and an Employee Assistance Program.Flexible spending account for additional health and personal wellness activities and expenses.Flexible work arrangements and paid time off including vacation, medical/care time, personal days, and paid community volunteering.Opportunities for career growth, financial assistance for training and development, and rewards and recognition.Additional benefits including waived or reduced banking fees and reduced rates on personal loans and mortgages.This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position.
