Responsibilities: Providing Electrical Service support to external & internal clients. Executing small electrical projects. Reading and interpreting drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new and existing installations. Cutting, bending, threading, and installing conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings. Pulling wire through conduits and ceiling spaces. Splicing, joining, and connecting wires to components to form complete control systems. Adhering to all company policies and procedures. Performing tasks with minimal supervision and in accordance with Ainsworth Health & Safety policies and procedures. Executing all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, complying with all applicable health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations. Some after-hours and weekend work may be required. Qualifications: Journeyman Electrician with commercial experience. Knowledge of electrical theory and terminology. Experience with motor controls is an asset. Experience with fire alarms is an asset. Ability to read and draw simple electrical sketches and schematics. Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral. Strong attention to detail and ability to execute precision work. Experience with commercial/construction installations.
