Akkodis is seeking a Sr, Data Governance Project Manager role is a Contract with a client located in Toronto (Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants to have a solid background in Data Governance / Master Data Management, Power BI, Real Estate would come as a big plus.Pay Range: $70-$80/hr. , The pay may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.OverviewWe are seeking a senior-level Project Manager to lead a critical enterprise initiative:Data Governance Multiphase ProgramPhase 1: Published remediated data from MDM system through integrations to Power BI and Transactions and Investments Workflows in Dealpath (Completed)Phase 2: Properties workflows in Dealpath and UW metrics (Completed)Phase 3: Loans and Capital Pools workflows in Dealpath tool (Current focus kicking off)You will collaborate closely with an experienced Program Manager who has been driving this initiative.Systems: Dealpath, Reltio, PowerBI, MulesoftOther Data & Analytics (Reporting/Visualization) Initiatives, as availability allowsSystems: Snowflake, Cherre, PowerBICore ResponsibilitiesProject Management & Reporting: Maintain RAID logs, build/manage project plans, manage risks, and hold teams accountable.Vendor Management: (Dealpath) and coordination with internal cross-sector teams.Test Cycle ManagementBusiness Analysis / Documentation Support, as neededSkills & ExperienceReal Estate industry experience (strongly preferred).Highly organized and analytical, with expertise in data governance, taxonomies, and master data.Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with PowerBI, Reltio, Dealpath, or similar master data management and workflow tools (preferred).Experience leading workflow tool implementations (required).Superuser-level Experience in Work Management Tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com or similar)Desired QualitiesBusiness-IT Translator: Ability to understand true business needs and translate them into IT solutions, driving changes effectively.Curiosity & Problem-Solving: Ask why from both technical and human perspectives; dig into root causes and system limitations.Creative Thinking: Suggest alternative solutions when faced with technical or business constraints.Hands-On Approach: Willing to dive into data analytics or root cause assessments rather than just directing others.Analytical & Thorough: Anticipate follow-up questions, think beyond instructions, and deliver complete, well-researched responses.Flexibility & Adaptability: Quickly assess risks, make recommendations, and pivot as priorities shift.Detail-Oriented: Understand day-to-day team challenges deeply enough to communicate risks and timelines accurately.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
