We are looking for a skilled Informatica Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions using Informatica tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL development, data pipelines, and data warehousing, and will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. Hybrid not remote to go into the office in North York. Key Responsibilities: IDMC Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica IDMC. Implement data quality rules, profiling, and cleansing using IDMC''s Data Quality services. Design and manage master data domains using IDMC''s Master Data Management capabilities. Ensure compliance and governance through metadata management and data lineage tracking. Integrate cloud and hybrid data sources to support analytics and operational reporting. ETL Development & Maintenance Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS). Extract, transform, and load data from various sources (databases, flat files, APIs) into data warehouses or data lakes. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems. Data Integration & Support Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, resolving failures and performance issues in a timely manner. Maintain and enhance existing data integration processes to support evolving business needs. Documentation & Best Practices Document ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications. Follow and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with cross-functional teams including BI, data science, and application developers. Provide support during UAT and production deployments. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 36 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and data modeling. Experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys, Control-M) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud-based data integration. Exposure to Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or MDM. Knowledge of Python, Shell scripting, or other automation tools. Informatica certifications are a plus.
