Consignaction Beverage Container Return Consignaction is committed to reducing waste and supporting a circular economy. We manage a nationwide network of return sites that allow citizens to return beverage containers for recycling. Our goal is to provide a fast, modern, and environmentally friendly service that is accessible to all Quebec residents. Position Overview Reporting to the territory supervisor, the Return Site Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation and smooth functioning of the return site. The coordinator assists citizens in the return process of consignated containers and receives training from an onboarding program. All new employees receive an integration training. Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and greet external suppliers. Count returned containers using available tools. Separate materials. Operate the return point system and other equipment. Perform regular workstation maintenance. Operate small handling equipment. Ensure equipment on site runs smoothly and perform necessary actions when required. Form and share knowledge with colleagues as needed. Perform related tasks (e.g., shipment preparation, inventory, reports, cleaning work spaces including the bathroom). PreRequirements Entry level fulltime position for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and support the communitys waste reduction efforts. Desired Profile Experience in customer service. Excellent interpersonal skills. Team player. Continuous learning and autonomous work capability. Ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment. Computer literacy. Requirements High school diploma (DES) or equivalent relevant experience. Fluency in French. Respect available hours. Ability to work in variable conditions (hot, cold, humid).
