To learn more about CAMH, please visit their website at: Responsibilities Reporting to Senior Management Redevelopment, responsible for ensuring comprehensive reviews and process improvements are implemented for all project management processes for all deliverables at all project stages. Ensure industryleading project management standards are achieved and sustained, and that buildings are delivered with a minimum number of deficiencies via comprehensive commissioning and closeout processes. Two key projects: Phase 1D Forensics (550,000 sqft) + parking garage addition a DBF project currently at 100% Construction Documents, construction underway, with occupancy anticipated early 2029 and trailing activities to be completed in 2030, and Phase 1D Research (400,000 sqft) a Construction Management at Risk (CMaR) project under construction with occupancy anticipated late 2027. At the completion of these projects, CAMH will have achieved its urban vision on its 27acre site through the provision of public streets, streetscapes and groundlevel public access. Assist in the delivery of two simultaneous large capital projects, manage stakeholder expectation toward project approval, and support a workplace that embraces diversity and teamwork while complying with all applicable regulations. Provide leadership during all project phases (early planning to final commissioning) by reviewing project management processes and recommending improvements or best practices. Apply project management practices and processes including project implementation planning, governance, controls, quality control, risk management, procurement, and contracting. Conduct process audits for complex capital projects (procurement audits, construction contract audits, progress billing reviews, etc.). Anticipate project risks (opportunities and threats) and address potential challenges before they occur. Collaborate with project team members, contractors, design consultants and equipment vendors to achieve successful outcomes. Assist with Ministry of Health and LongTerm Care (MoHLTC) communication and correspondence. Support, coach, and mentor project redevelopment team members. Stand in interim backfill positions as required (due to vacation, leave, etc.). Location: CAMH Queen Street Site, Queen Street West and Ossington Avenue. Qualifications / Requirements University degree in engineering, architecture or an equivalent combination, preferably with a professional license. Minimum of 20years of senior/executive level project development/management experience, leading teams on large (in excess of $300million) construction projects. Experience setting up and running a Project Office for a redevelopment team; preparing and presenting to Project Teams, Senior Management and Board Committees. Knowledge of all design disciplines and prior work with design teams. Experience with Alternate Finance Procurement (AFP) healthcare redevelopment projects and construction management required. Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, project management, budget planning, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of hospital operations; mentalhealth operations considered an asset. Strong team player, able to lead, influence and solve problems across diverse functional groups; initiative and outofthebox thinking. Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language considered an asset. This fulltime, permanent position is NOT part of any bargaining unit.
