Job TitleLead Project Engineer CompanyWSP LocationsAny Canadian office (Calgary AB, Moncton NB, Kitchener ON) OverviewWSPs Energy & Process division supports clients from small installations to integrated megaprojects, providing design, engineering and environmental services that support climate adaptation, water and marine resource protection, biodiversity restoration and lowcarbon transition across the project lifecycle worldwide. Responsibilities Lead projects in a clientfacing role, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals of quality, schedule and cost are achieved. Plan, schedule, estimate design engineering effort from project conception to issuance of all drawings and specifications. Assist in proposal development and review cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments and elements of project design. Develop project strategy, review and approve designs, coordinate discipline deliverables and manage change orders. Act as the main technical contact with the client, coach and mentor junior engineers, and deliver technical reports and feasibility studies. Qualifications PostGraduate in Engineering. P.Eng. or P.Tech. designation. 1015years of previous EPCM experience in the energy industry, with 710years of direct project engineering experience. At least 2years as a Project Lead dealing directly with clients and stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to produce highquality work under competing priorities. Strong technical expertise in concept and design optimization, with proficiency in P&IDs, line lists, and mechanical packaged equipment scope.
