Our comprehensive benefits program is employer-paid and includes extended health care, out-of-country insurance, as well as life insurance.Additionally, we offer a retirement pension plan, an employee and family assistance plan, and participation in the Employee Share Ownership Plan (TSX: CHR).Explore your next role:The Aircraft Certification Authority (Ottawa, ON) is responsible for performing or monitoring maintenance on company aircraft in accordance with the Maintenance Control and Policy manual and Transport Canada Regulations.Perform Line Maintenance DutiesDismantle airframes, aircraft engines or other aircraft systems for repair, clean, inspect and/or overhaul, reassemble components or airframes to the highest standard of airworthiness.Troubleshoot aircraft’s structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems to identify problems and adjust/repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and established procedures.Ensure Aircrafts are maintained in accordance with company and Transport Canada regulationsEnsure all Maintenance tasks are completed correctly and on timeRepair more complex and comprehensive defects without direct supervision of the repair being worked onCarry out and coordinate the inspection, maintenance, and repair of company aircraft and related systems.Report to dispatch, Maintenance Manager and Site Manager, (if applicable), on issues that affect the serviceability of the aircraftTroubleshooting more complex system defects (fuel system, flight controls, hydraulic systems etc.), aircraft defects and carry out corrective action as requiredRelease maintenance work post audit of maintenance work in accordance with applicable Company and Transport Canada policies/regulationsMaintain Aircraft Airworthiness StandardsEnsure that safety policies and procedures are followedPerform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while giving primary consideration to personal safety, and the safety of co-workers and customers.Attend training courses as directed by the companyComplying with Canadian Aircraft Regulations (CARS)Actively participate in Voyageur’s Safety Management System including report hazards and incidents encountered during daily operations.Other Related DutiesPlanning and performing aircraft maintenance IAW published procedures.Hangar and office duties including housekeeping, shipping receiving, inventory replenishment, snow removal, and other assigned duties.Maintain tool controlMaintaining the work area in a neat and tidy condition.Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success:College diploma in Aircraft Maintenance from a Transport Canada approved educational institution.Valid AME licence (Category M1) RequiredExperience preferred King Air 200Minimum three (3) years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance EngineerExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Demonstrated problem-solving skills.Complete tasks accurately and efficiently with a high attention to detail.Capable of working under pressure with tight deadlines.Ability to work a flexible schedule.Eligibility:You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.You belong here!Voyageur Aviation Corp. is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment, where all employees and customers feel valued, respected, and supported.
