The site is home to our corporate headquarters and and a short seven-minute walk to the Vaughan Metropolitan Center subway station. Limited travel is expected when necessary to meet with clients and/or review product performance on-site.The Engineering Project/Program Manager will directly oversee one or many R&D program consisting of hardware, firmware and software for the companys real-time, embedded life-safety or building technology projects. The position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) while working closely closely with members of the Engineering, Operations, and Product Management departments. The best candidate will have experience navigating an aggressive NPI roadmap while also working with customer-facing teams to support our current offering adoption and maintenance. As a mid-size, growth oriented firm, we are looking to keep organized yet flexible while scaling to new heights.The primary role of the project/program manager is to guide the development resources to plan and act on their daily and weekly activities while re-prioritizing backlog and adjusting resource assignments when necessary. A keen understanding of the customer value proposition of the company will assist you in managing resource bottlenecks and making business cases to invest in staffing changes when necessary.
