Adecco is actively seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to join our clients team and to oversee and coordinate all production runs, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across departments. This role is vital for keeping production on schedule, managing lead times, and facilitating communication between Customer Service, Sales, Shipping, and vendors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and helps the plant operate at peak efficiency.Pay Rate: $65k-$70k/year.Location: St. Thomas, ONShift: Monday-Friday 6:00am or 7:00am-3:00pmJob type: Permanent | Full-timeResponsibilities: Set up and manage order line-ups on all presses and balance workloadsOrganize shipments with Customer Service and Shipping, ensuring timely deliverySchedule run-withs, run-togethers, and adjust for rush ordersCoordinate order specifications and movement across plant locationsAct as liaison for scheduling communications and manage incoming materialsAdminister internal and supplier NCRs; schedule re-runs and track docket changesControl transfer processes and maintain accurate records, including monthly die purgesOffice-based with regular production floor visits; frequent standing, bending, crouchingExposure to varying temperatures and noise levels; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.CSA-approved safety footwear and hearing protection requiredRequirements: Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalentProficiency in English (verbal and written)Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skillsKnowledge of corrugated manufacturing machinery is an assetStrong communication and conflict resolution skillsDont miss out on this Scheduler position in St. Thomas, ON.
