APF Group is now hiring a full-time yard worker that can handle lifting/packing/carrying pipe, steel, and tire products. You must also have experience with Microsoft Office and be able to assist with office paperwork, tracking inventory on Excel, responding to emails in a professional manner, and sending daily/weekly reports. Our hours of operation are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. You must be able to lift and carry (up to 50 lbs.) repeatedly throughout the day maintaining warehouse stock. What we offer: Dental care Extended health care Life Insurance Paid Time off Vision care Wellness programs A diverse and casual work environment What you will be doing: Pick and load customer orders accurately and efficiently Respond to customer and internal emails in a timely manner Send daily operational reports to the internal team Create and issue invoices using QuickBooks Complete all required paperwork, including shipping, receiving, and inventory documents Safely and securely unload and load delivery trucks Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and work areas Follow all company safety protocols and procedures without exception To be successful in this role you must: Enjoy working collaboratively within a diverse team environment Possess a strong sense of urgency and initiative Proficient in Microsoft Word and other basic MS Office applications Basic computer literacy Understand and demonstrate professional email etiquette Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Applicants with experience in a tire or pipe setting will be given preference.
