Our client, a major real estate developer in the Lower Mainland, is seeking a Site Superintendent for a large concrete tower project in Coquitlam. Specializing in concrete high-rise and wood-frame townhouse projects, our client is a leader in the real estate development industry.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Senior Site Superintendent in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.Supervise and coordinate site activities, including managing subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.Monitor quality control, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.Ensure the project site is organized, clean, and compliant with all safety regulations.Assist in managing and tracking project progress, including reporting on key performance metrics.Coordinate site meetings, prepare progress reports, and communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders.Resolve site issues and ensure that any challenges are addressed efficiently.Assist with the planning and scheduling of work, ensuring efficient use of labor and resources.Contribute to the training and development of junior staff on-site.Promote a positive and productive team environment.Ideal Candidate Requirements:Previous experience as an Assistant or full Site Superintendent on concrete high-rise projects.Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management, and scheduling software.Experience working with large-scale concrete construction projects.Ability to lead teams, manage multiple tasks, and handle the pressures of fast-paced environments.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.Proficiency in reading and understanding construction drawings and specifications.A desire to grow within the industry and take on more responsibility in the future.
