This is a fulltime, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. Successful candidates may be required to relocate across Canada to complete their training; relocation assistance will be provided. The Role As a Management Trainee, you will progress through a 4phase program to learn every aspect of how our business operates from shipping and receiving, counter sales, operations management to employee development and more. Over 3.5 to 4 years, you will grow a sales territory of your own and provide worldclass customer service. You will receive guidance, mentoring, and support from current managers and teammates across Canada. Program Outline Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer Service Build product knowledge and gain handson experience with logistics, customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more. Phase 2: Customer Relationships and Procurement Transition from customer service to managing largescale projects. Learn to read blueprint drawings, create quotes, and foster relationships with customers and vendors. Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales Focus on business development: find new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, expand customer base, and create level5 customer partnerships. Phase 4: Leadership and Operations Provide a strategic vision, lead a team, mentor others, and run the business by developing leadership competencies, coaching, and setting vision and strategy. Upon completion, you will be ready to manage one of our Canadian profitcenter locations.
