As a Canada Immigration Associate Law Clerk (Associate level), you will work under the supervision of lawyers and/or RCICs to prepare and submit timely immigrationbenefits requests for large multinational organizations, emerging companies, their employees, and their families. About The Role We are seeking a detailoriented, clientfocused Canada Immigration Associate Law Clerk to join our growing Vancouver Immigration practice. This role is ideal for professionals with handson Canadian immigration experience who excel in case preparation, documentation accuracy, and client service. You will support endtoend processing of a wide range of Canadian immigration matters and collaborate closely with senior team members, managers, and attorneys/RCICs. This position requires strong organization, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage highvolume workflows in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare, draft, review, and assemble Canadian immigration applications. Work Permits: LMIA, LMIAexempt/IMP categories, IntraCompany Transfers. Temporary Residence: visitor visas, study permits, extensions. Permanent Residence: Express Entry, PNPs, Family Class, CEC, PR card renewals. Business Immigration: StartUp Visa, Entrepreneur pathways (as applicable). Compile supporting documents, submission letters, employer compliance evidence, and government forms (IRCC/CBSA/ESDC). Client & Stakeholder Coordination Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, employees, and HR partners. Provide checklists, track deliverables, and clarify documentation requirements. Communicate case status updates clearly and proactively. Coordinate with global mobility teams and crossborder colleagues when required. Workflow, Tracking & Compliance Maintain accurate case records within case management systems. Track deadlines, expiries, biometrics, and IRCC/ESDC updates. Ensure all applications meet compliance standards and pass internal quality review. Conduct research on changes in Canadian immigration policies and program requirements. Quality Assurance & Collaboration Participate in peer reviews and quality checkpoints. Support internal process improvements and contribute to a collaborative team culture. Work closely with senior associates and managers to deliver timely and accurate client work. Required Qualifications 13+ years of handson Canadian immigration casework experience (law firm or corporate environment). Strong understanding of IRCC, CBSA, and ESDC requirements. Experience preparing LMIA, IMP, TR/PR, and PNP applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency with legal/case management software (e.g., INSZoom, Cobalt, Clio, ATS/CRM systems). Postsecondary diploma or degree in Law Clerk, Paralegal Studies, Immigration Consultant program, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications RCIC designation (an asset, not required). Experience in highvolume corporate immigration environments. Familiarity with global mobility processes and crossborder collaboration. Fluency in a second language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, French, etc.) is an asset. What We Offer Hybrid work model (Vancouver office). Additional Information Employment Type: Regular / FullTime Hybrid: Two days in office Location: 1188 West Georgia Street, Suite 1180, Vancouver, BC, V6E 4A2 Compensation Range: $58,000 $74,000 CAD Compensation is determined based on several factors, including geographic location, years of relevant experience, education, and overall qualifications.
