OverviewWe are currently hiring full time Management Development Program Trainees. Base Salary - $52,500 + Profit Sharing. This is a full-time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package and the opportunity to earn profit sharing. The role may require relocation within Canada to complete training, with relocation assistance provided. This is a phased program designed to teach all aspects of the business, from shipping and receiving to operations, employee development, and more. You will grow a sales territory and provide world-class customer service, with guidance and mentoring from regional and national managers.Program Outline:Phase 1: Warehouse and Customer service Learn product knowledge, logistics, customer service, counter sales, order management, inventory and pricing controls, credit management, financial statements, and more.Phase 2: Customer relationships and Procurement Build relationships with customers and vendors, manage projects, read blueprint drawings to prepare material quotes.Phase 3: Account Management and Proactive Sales Develop business opportunities, sell products, negotiate contracts, expand the customer base, and build partnerships.Phase 4: Leadership and Operations Lead a team, mentor others, and develop leadership, vision, and strategy.After completing the phases, you will be prepared to become a manager at one of our Canadian Profit Center locations.QualificationsUniversity degree or college diploma all disciplines consideredPositive attitude and results-oriented mindsetDesire to continuously learn and growExcellent leadership, customer service and organizational skillsStrong work ethic and integrityAbility to work well independently and in a teamExcellent communication skills with customers, vendors, and teammatesProficient in Microsoft OfficeStrong interest in salesValid drivers licenseBenefits and Additional InformationGrowth potential with competitive salary, benefits, and profit sharingParticipation in our pension plan with employer contributionsWork-life harmonySalary Range - $52,500 + Profit SharingEqual opportunity statement: EMCO is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to a discrimination- and barrier-free workplace.
