Donations AssistantAnnual Salary Range: $49K to $55K Note: This is temporary full-time position, with an estimated end date of March 1, 2026.PurposeThe Donations Assistant will work out of our office in downtown Vancouver and provide key administrative support to the Donations team at St. Pauls Foundation.Key Responsibilities Guide donations flow and act as a key liaison in coordinating gift coding between the Donations and Fundraising teams. Create batches for gift entry and process donations (cheques/cash, credit card, and gifts in- kind) in Raisers Edge in a timely manner. Support our monthly recurring donor program. Responsible for data hygiene, ensuring donor accounts are properly updated. Prepare donations for deposit. Open, sort, and distribute internal mail. Answer inquiries from donors, Foundation volunteers, staff members, and the public. Assist the Donations team in developing new processes, increasing efficiencies, and updating documentation. Provide occasional support at our hospital office. Support the Donations Manager in administrative tasks, including but not limited to filing, scanning, preparing meeting minutes/meeting agendas, and preparing Visa expensestatements. Provide backup support for the Finance team, including reviewing cheques, and preparing for signatures and mail-outs.Qualifications Exceptional multi-tasking and communication skills. Adept at time management and keen attention to detail. Comfortable and confident in a deadline-driven environment. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Sound judgment and tact, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Demonstrated ability to contribute to and participate in a positive work environment with professionalism and a service-oriented attitude. A high degree of initiative, discernment, and resourcefulness, and ability to proactively identify problems and escalate as needed. Experience in a non-profit environment with previous experience using Raisers Edge an asset. Available to work occasional weekend and evening hours.
