This position works closely with a Project Manager to ensure that all of the required work gets completed as safely, efficiently and in the most cost effective manner as possible. ResponsibilitiesCommunicate daily with the foremen and project manager to ensure production expectations are achievable and monitor progress on a daily basisEnsure that all roofing operations comply with our safety and health policiesAttend project handoff meetings with all stakeholders to advise on labour requirements and project challengesProactively determine equipment needs on site and coordinate their deliveryCommunicate material order and delivery times with all involved stakeholdersCoordinate job site setup and project plan layoutIdentify any potential extras to the contract and inform the PMCommunicate issues and delays to all stakeholdersEnsure with each foreman that all deficiencies are being corrected on an ongoing basis Desired Qualifications7-10 Years of work experience in commercial flat roofingAdvanced planning skills for establishing maximum productivity of workforce, materials, and equipmentAble to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlinesKnowledge of safety compliance regulations and commitment to a safe work environmentThe ability to lead and motivate groups and individualsAnalysis & problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and management skillsAbility to prioritize and work on multiple tasks to efficiently meet deadlinesAbility to work in a fast paced environmentMust have strong communication, good organization, time management, multitasking and stress management skillsMust be punctual and reliable with excellent work ethicAbility to pay strong attention to detailForm and maintain customer relations through email and on the phoneDisplay strong knowledge of relevant computer applications (Microsoft Office)
