Position: Maintenance Planner Location: Horseshoe Bay Opportunity We are looking for an effective communicator with strong interpretation skills and an ability to consistently meet deadlines. Reporting to the Regional Manager of Terminal Maintenance, you will establish and maintain a preventative and diagnostic maintenance program through the planning and organizing of highquality maintenance services. Responsibilities Plan work requests; estimate scope, costs, materials and resources; obtain quotes, complete repair or corrective work orders and bills of materials; confirm availability and cost of parts and materials before releasing work orders; develop work instructions, material lists, tools and equipment requirements. Create purchase requisitions and stock reservations for planned work; assist in the final readiness of kitting and staging of job material requirements. Maintain preventative maintenance and job plan records, including reviewing work order records and making recommendations. Ensure the database is accurately updated by managing asset/location hierarchy, equipment identification and naming conventions; maintain parts lists, manage service request and work order processes adhering to defined workflow practices. Consult with other departments; communicate work requirements; monitor status of ongoing jobs; prioritize planning and scheduling activities; offer recommendations for improvement; ensure asset reliability and performance. Provide orientation, guidance and informal training to other employees. Other related duties may be assigned from time to time. Qualifications You have a Red Seal Trade or Engineering Qualification with experience directly related to the planning function of the department or you have a Maintenance Management Professional Certification. In addition, you bring at least 2 years of recent experience in planning/scheduling directly related to a maintenance and/or construction environment or at least 2 years of recent experience working in a Computerized Maintenance Management System or equivalent. Furthermore, you have a high level of selfmotivation, with the ability to work in highpressure situations both independently and within a team. Other Requirements A valid BC Drivers License with a clean driving record is required. Travel may be required.
