If you're passionate about solving complex problems and have bold ideas to push the boundaries of actuarial science, Gore wants to hear from you.THE OPPORTUNITYActuarial Pricing Manager-Commercial LinesThis role will drive profitability across Commercial Lines by developing and maintaining line-of-business indications, pricing models, and predictive analytics. Collaborate closely with the actuarial pricing team and Data & Analytics to deliver actionable insights and innovative solutions.What will you do?Commercial Lines PricingResponsible for ensuring adequate Commercial lines pricing decisions across IRCA, Fleet, Garage and P&C lines of business are being driven. This includes but not limited to regular rate indication creation by line of business, actuarial insights into loss patterns, or loss development which help to guide improved pricing models or analytic models for all Commercial Lines of business.Supporting larger account and program pricing indications and suggested rate level increasesData Literacy & Model BuildingResponsible for building sophisticated pricing models for complicated problems in conjunction with the Data & Analytics team.Deep understanding of what the commercial portfolio data means and possesses the ability to interpret it and draw appropriate conclusions and actions from it.Understands the bigger picture and breaking a large, complicated problem into smaller, more manageable problems with viable solution implementations recommended form that analysisImplementation SupportWork with the appropriate teams to determine the appropriate actions to create pricing models and maintain adequate pricing across all commercial lines, including determination of what supports are required and create a plan to have them completed in a timely manner.Implementation of said pricing models within Earnix and testing/deployment therein, along with regulatory filing creation, remittance, and approval support.Personal DevelopmentComplete CAS exams or close to finished. Project specific research may be required.
